  1. Be a non-EEA citizen aged 18 or above with a clear criminal record.
  2. Show a relevant university qualification or professional experience.
  3. Meet the applicable income threshold for the principal applicant and accompanying family.
  4. Show at least one year of remote work for a non-Spanish business and that the work can continue remotely.
  5. An employee must show at least three months under contract and employer permission to work remotely.
  6. A freelancer must show at least one client outside Spain and terms allowing remote delivery.
  7. Provide qualifying health insurance and complete the required health assessment.

Programme Benefits

  1. A special tax rate may apply during the first four years, subject to individual eligibility and current tax rules.
