- Be at least 18 years old and provide a police-clearance certificate.
- Hold a valid Employment Pass with at least three months remaining.
- Hold a recognised doctorate, master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, diploma or professional or skills qualification.
- Have at least five years of total work experience, including three consecutive years of employment in Malaysia.
- Earn a basic monthly salary above MYR 15,000, excluding allowances and bonuses.
- Hold a Malaysian personal tax number and have paid Malaysian personal income tax for at least two years.
