Core Eligibility

  1. Reach at least 70 points under the applicable highly skilled professional assessment.
  2. For the referenced business structure, establish a Japanese company with an independent fixed office and paid-in capital of JPY 30 million.
  3. Employ at least one qualifying full-time Japanese citizen or permanent resident.

Programme Benefits

  1. A renewable residence period of up to five years may be granted.
  2. Up to two domestic helpers may be sponsored when the applicable conditions are met.
  3. An eligible spouse may work full-time in Japan.
