  1. Economic or Financial Special Zone category
    1. Main applicant aged 21 or above; good health and police clearance for dependants aged 18 or above.
    2. Eligible family: spouse, unmarried children under 34, parents and parents-in-law.
    3. Fixed deposit after approval: USD 65,000 at age 21–49 or USD 32,000 at age 50 or above; up to 50 percent may later be used for eligible Malaysian expenses.
    4. Purchase a qualifying new property in the designated zone under local foreign-purchase rules and observe the ten-year holding or permitted upgrade rules.
    5. Below age 50, the family must complete an aggregate 90 days per year; at age 50 or above, no minimum stay is published.

    1. Main applicant aged 25 or above; good health and the required police clearances.
    2. Eligible family: lawful spouse, qualifying unmarried and unemployed children under 34, parents and parents-in-law.
    3. Deposit USD 150,000 after approval; up to 50 percent may later be used for eligible expenses.
    4. Buy qualifying property worth at least MYR 600,000 within one year and observe the ten-year holding or upgrade rules.
    5. Below age 50, the family must complete an aggregate 90 days per year; at age 50 or above, no minimum stay is published.

Programme Benefits
