Canada Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit
Canada’s intra-company transfer pathway allows a qualifying international business to move an executive, senior manager or specialized-knowledge employee to a related Canadian entity on an employer-specific work permit. Eligibility turns on the corporate relationship, the employee’s prior role, the proposed Canadian position and the credibility of the operating plan.
What is the Canada Intra-Company Transfer Work Permit?
Canada’s intra-company transfer work permit allows a qualifying overseas company to send a senior manager or core employee to establish or operate a related Canadian business. The applicant may work in Canada after approval, while eligible family members may be assessed for accompanying status.
